Terrible Situation on I5.

Hi - sorry I can't be more detailed and it took a day for me to figure out how to make a report, but I'm not from the area. I was a traveler on I5 on Tuesday, March 19. At dusk I noticed fog along the east side of the interstate around Coalinga. As I approached, the buildings and lights I had noticed in this fog patch disappeared from view behind a berm along the road. I assumed it was a large farm operation. Then the "fog" hit me. I have never smelled or felt anything so awful in my life. I was close to panic and sped up to get out of it as soon as I could. It was a very physical sensation - almost like actual particles were hitting my throat and lungs. I really thought I might throw up. It took a few miles to get out of it and I did smell other farms along that stretch for the next half hour. But NOTHING like the visible mess in the air. Again - I wish I had made a better note of exactly where I was, but I have a feeling someone in office can guess.I hope this was noted by someone else. I can't believe it was legal.
