A recent project by the company NextGen installing high-speed internet cables has left our community with significant concerns regarding the condition of our streets and sidewalks. The work performed has resulted in hazardous conditions, including numerous tripping hazards, particularly on sidewalks. While some areas of the community were completed to a higher standard, the majority of the neighborhood is still facing these safety issues. Several months ago, the community invested a considerable amount of resources to address raised sidewalk sections by grinding high spots to prevent tripping. Unfortunately, the recent construction activities have undone these efforts, creating new risks for pedestrians. This situation requires immediate attention to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.
